Stage 1 – Report

Alex Bowman and Kyle Larson - Daytona 500 - NASCAR Cup Series - Daytona International Speedway - Small

Laps: 65 (1-65 / 200)

Green flag, Bowman and Larson run side by side into turn one and into turn three.

Lap 15, Kyle Larson gets loose with Logano on his bumper. Christopher Bell leads a charge on the outside lane. Bowman pushes him to the lead.

Lap 25, the field remains 2 by 2 from the front to the back. Larson leads the inside lane as Bell leads the outside lane. They swap the lead back and forth.

Lap 36, Bowman leaves the bumper of Bell and drops to the bottom lane with help from Corey LaJoie. Bowman to the lead.

Lap 37, the Ford camp heads for the pit lane.

Lap 40, The Chevrolets head for the pit lane. Riley Herbst spins coming to the pit lane, no caution.

Denny Hamlin cycles out to the race lead.

Pit Penalty: Travis Pastrana drove through too many boxes during his spot. Pastrana will serve a pass-through and go a lap down.

Lap 53

Lap 53, Bubba Wallace leads down the backstretch. A bump draft from Martin Truex Jr points Wallace toward the outside wall. Bubba Wallace brushes the wall and returns to the pit lane to swap right side tires, no caution.

Lap 54, Martin Truex Jr leads Denny Hamlin.

3 to go in stage one, the field runs single file around the inside lane.

2 to go, Brad Keselowski cuts to the inside from 3rd off turn four. He has hep from Preece, Keselowski to the lead with 1 to go.

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 65 (66-130 / 200)

Keselowski leads the field to the pit lane. Ryan Preece wins the race to the pit exit.

Green flag on stage two, Almirola shoves Keselowski to the lead on the outside. Keselowski drops to the bottom lane, Almirola pulls alongside.

Keselowski wins the battle via the inside lane.

Lap 107, the Chevrolet group hits the pit lane.

Pit Penalty: Kyle Busch is caught speeding, he’ll serve a pass-through penalty.

Lap 109, Keselowski leads half of the Ford group to the pit lane. The Toyotas pits on the next lap. Lap 111, the rest of the Ford camp pits on the next lap.

Blaney throws a huge block as Reddick leads a huge group. Logano cycles to the race lead. Chris Buescher pulls to the outside of Logano.

Lap 118

Lap 118, Kevin Harvick gives a bumper draft to Tyler Reddick in turn four. Reddick gets turned sideways and he hooks Ryan Blaney in the right rear. Both cars slam the outside wall. Erik Jones, Chase Elliott, Daniel Suarez, Martin Truex Jr and Kyle Larson are collected. The caution is out.

Pit Penalty: Jimmie Johnson will drop to the rear after speeding on the pit lane.

Buescher leads many to the pit lane. Joey Logano and others stay out.

Green with 6 to go in stage two, Logano leads with a push from Truex Jr.

5 to go, Ross Chastain leads a charge on the outside lane. He pulls even with Logano at the front. Chastain to the lead.

2 to go, Chastain is blocking both lanes.

1 to go, Chastain and Bowman run even into turn three. Logano shoves Chastain off turn four.

Ross Chastain wins stage two in the Daytona 500!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 70 (131-200 / 200)

Chastain leads the field to the pit lane. Almirola wins the race to the pit exit with fuel only. Bubba Wallace is the only car to stay out, he’ll lead the restart.

Pit Penalties: Chastain, Bell, Gragson will all drop to the rear for pit penalties.

Green flag on stage three, Almirola and Wallace run side by side. Almirola wins the battle.

Lap 140, caution for debris.

Alex Bowman runs into Noah Gragson on the pit lane. Light left front damage for Bowman.

Green, Buescher pushes Almirola to the lead on the inside.

55 to go, Buescher works to the outside of Almirola. He catches the nose of Keselowski, Buescher to the lead.

25 to go

25 to go, Buescher leads a train of Fords to the pit lane.

24 to go, a small Toyota group hits the pit lane.

22 to go, the Chevrolet group hits the pit lane.

Pit Penalty: Ricky Stenhouse Jr will serve a pass-through for speeding on the pit lane.

Harrison Burton cycles to the race lead.

19 to go, they stack up into turn three. Preece gets loose as they check up and he spins in front of the field. Truex Jr, Harvick, Preece, McDowell, Gibbs, Briscoe and more are collected.

Green with 13 to go, Burton and Logano run even into turn one. Byron shoves Logano to the lead on the inside lane.

12 to go, Logano washes off the bottom in turn two. Allmendinger works under him and takes the lead away. Logano is shuffled out of line.

10 to go, Buescher shoves Keselowski to the lead. The top 6 form single file on the inside lane.

4 to go, Kyle Busch pulls to the outside lane. Austin Dillon shoves him to the lead.

3 to go, Daniel Suarez spins, caution.

NASCAR Overtime

Green, Busch gets the jump and he drops to the bottom in front of teammate Dillon. Logano has a run off turn two on the outside. Logano to the lead.

Stenhouse dives to the inside of Logano into turn three. Austin Dillon gets turned off a push from Byron and they both slide into turn three. Chastain, Cindric, Keselowski, Hamlin, Herbst, Burton, Haley, Smith, Gilliland, Gragson and Johnson are collected and the caution is out.

Green, Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Kyle Larson run side by side into turn one. Logano shoves Stenhouse to the lead in turn three.

1 to go, Logano and Larson work alongside Stenhouse Jr, three wide for the lead into turn one. Kyle Larson gets put in the middle and he’s going backwards. Logano and Stenhouse jr run side by side for the lead

Travis Pastrana get shoved and he’s turned sideways. Pastrana clips Kyle Larson in the right rear and Larson slams the outside wall. The caution is out and the race is over.

NASCAR is reviewing the finish.
