NASCAR starting positions for Phoenix Raceway
Later today, the NASCAR Xfinity Series takes the green flag in Phoenix, Arizona. Now, the field rolls to the 1-mile of Phoenix Raceway for a round of practice followed by a round of qualifying.

Kyle Busch is in the Xfinity field. He suffered electrical issues early in the practice session. However, the team was able to sort out the issue. Busch will not take part in qualifying as the team will have to start in the back regardless.
Cole Custer topped the practice session with a time of 27.947.
Parker Kligerman slammed the wall in qualifying. “It went to the floor,” Kligerman said of the brake pedal.
Cole Custer will start from the pole position with a laptime of 27.845 seconds in qualifying.
