Eldora Speedway race results from the 2019 World 100

Tonight, it’s night one of the 2019 World 100. Eldora Speedway is set to host three days of dirt late model action on the half mile dirt track.

The Rossburg, Ohio dirt track has a pair of dirt late model features on deck. The field was split in half at the beginning of the night. Each group will race in a 25 lap main event.

World 100 Feature
Group A – Report

Laps: 25

Billy Moyer and Dennis Erb Jr exit the pit gate for the first A Main of the night. The field lines up in a four wide salute for the Ohio dirt racing fans. They’re set to race in the first 25 lap main event.

Green flag, Moyer leads into turn one. Kent Robinson has a look on his inside from row two into turn one. Moyer holds the lead off turn two.

Lap 5, Moyer runs the top and Robinson runs the bottom. Moyer leads by a car length at the line as the top two break away.

Lap 11, Jimmy Owens is on the move. He’s climbed to the bumper of Robinson. Moyer has lap traffic ahead.

Jimmy Owens works by Robinson for 2nd. He sets sights on Moyer.

Lap 20, Moyer leads Owens by 5 car lengths. Owens is closing.

Lap 23, Earl Pearson Jr is slow and the caution is out!

Green, Moyer and Owens rub fenders at the line! Owens drops to 5th into turn one. Ferguson and Robinson fight for 2nd, Robinson holds it.

Final lap, Robinson has a look on the bottom. Moyer runs the cushion.

Billy Moyer Sr has the high side momentum and drives it to the line to win the first main event of the weekend!

Group B – Report

Laps: 25

Shannon Babb and Rusty Schlenk set the front row for the final main event of the night.

Green flag, they run side by side into turn one. Schlenk leads off the top in turn two.

Babb fights back on the bottom into turn three. Shannon Babb comes back to lead at the flag stand. Hudson O’Neal moves to 2nd.

Lap 5, Babb leads Hudson O’Neal by 3 car lengths.

Lap 9, Hudson O’Neal has closed to within a car length but the caution is out for debris off turn two.

Green, Babb and Hudson O’Neal run even at the line. Babb noses ahead on the bottom into turn one.

Lap 10, Hudson O’Neal has a run off turn four. He drives to the bottom and clear. Hudson O’Neal leads out of turn two.

Jonathan Davenport and Tim McCreadie have been climbing through the field. They run side by side for 4th.

Lap 13, the caution is out.

Green, Hudson O’Neal leads. Davenport and Babb battle side by side for 2nd. Davenport takes that spot on the bottom.

Lap 20, Hudson O’Neal leads Davenport by 2 seconds.

Hudson O’Neal cruises to the win in the final feature of the night at Eldora Speedway!
