Tonight, it’s the second night of the three night show at the half-mile dirt track of Eldora Speedway. It’s the Intercontinental Classic, the replacement event for the famed World 100.

Main Event
Report
Green flag, Babb and Richards run even into turn one. Richards drives it deep to the bottom. Babb hangs onto his right rear and Richards is forced to lift and leave the outside lane open. Babb drives by on the outside off turn two and leads into turn three.
Lap 6, Babb leads Richards by a full straight away.
Lap 9, the caution is out for Mason Zeigler.
Bloomquist and Marlar head for the pit lane.
Green, Babb knocks the cushion in turn one and clears Richards off turn two. Sheppard jump the cushion in turn one, he drops to 5th.
Halfway
Lap 15, Babb leads by just under a second. Most of the field is glued to the cushion all the way around the half mile speedway.
Lap 18, Richards is closing in on Babb for the lead. Richards can drive it harder into both corners.
Lap 20, Babb has caught the tail of the field. Richards slides him for the lead in turn one. He drives it to the bottom in turn three to take the air of the nose of Babb. Richards holds the lead.
Lap 23, the caution is out for Jason Jameson.
Jimmy Owens heads to the pit lane just ahead of the restart.
Green, Babb leads into turn one and retakes the lead.
Lap 24, Davenport slides Ferguson for 3rd. They make contact in the process but both keep rolling.
Strickler is up to 5th from 17th.
2 to go, Babb bobbles in turn two. Richards closes. Babb bobbles in turn four and Richards looks to the inside but can’t complete the pass.
Babb holds him off! Shannon Babb wins at Eldora Speedway!
