Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 14 (1-14 / 46)
Green flag, Busch and Chastain run side by side into turn one. Busch noses ahead and holds the lead into turn turn two. Chastain runs wide of the turtles and Allmendinger takes over 2nd.
Penalty: Ross Chastain has been penalized for cutting the course. He’ll serve a pass through penalty.
Lap 2, Ross Chastain has broke an axle. He pulls to the garage area, no caution.
Lap 3, Allmendinger has pulled right to the rear bumper of Busch in the battle for the race lead.
Lap 7, Busch has opened the gap. Allmendinger trails by 3 seconds.
Lap 8, Daniel Hemric pits under green with shifter issues. The crew jumps in the window to make repairs.
Lap 11
Lap 11, Boris Said slows on the track and forces the caution.
Busch leads them to the pit lane. Slow stop for Busch as he’s out 5th. Allgaier wins the race to the pit exit. 10+ cars stay out. Allmendinger and Reddick lead them to the restart.
Green, Allmendinger leads into turn one as they riun three wide for 2nd behind him. Reddick holds 2nd.
Noah Gragson gets spun in turn 15.

Stage 2 – Report
Laps: 16 (15-30 / 46)
Allmendinger pits and the lead cycles to Justin Allgaier.
Green flag on stage two, Allmendinger leads with a push from Cindric. Cindric leaves his bumper and dives to the inside in turn one and takes the lead!
Lap 5, trouble for Brandon Jones as he’s picked up damage.
Lap 6, Kyle Busch is on the bumper of Cindric for the lead. He looks to the inside in turn one, clear. Busch returns to the lead.
Lap 7, caution.
Green, Kyle Busch leads the field into turn one. Austin Cindric holds 2nd.
Lap 24
Lap 24, Riley Herbst is around, no caution. He was spun by Cole Custer in turn one.
Lap 25, Miguel Paludo has lost a gearbox and a driveshaft. He coasts to the pit area under green.
4 to go in stage two, Cindric and many others hit the pit lane. Very slow stop for Cindric as they couldn’t get the right rear off.
3 to go, Kyle Busch pits from the lead. Allgaier, Hemric and others pit as well.
Justin Haley stays out and he cruises to win stage two at COTA!

Stage 3 – Report
Laps: 16 (31-46 / 46)
Kyle Busch cycles back to the race lead as Haley hits the pit lane. Allgaier runs 2nd.
Green flag on stage three, Busch is clear into turn one. Allmendinger and Allgaier run side by side behind him. He completes the pass on the outside in turn two. Allmendinger holds 2nd.
8 to go, Hemric returns to the pit lane under green. It’s another shifter issue for him.
6 to go, Busch leads Allmendinger by 6 seconds.
5 to go, Snider locks up and clips Herbst in the process. They both spin, no caution.
2 to go, Busch leads Allmendinger by 8 seconds.
