Tonight, the NTT Indycar Series goes oval racing. WWT Raceway at Gateway is set to host open wheels on the 1.25-mile oval. Before tonight’s race, they’ll set the grid via qualifying.

Drivers get two fast laps. The best average of the two laps will start from the pole position.
Ahead of the green, a tail wind is active into turn one.
Kellett is the first car to the track. He sets average speed of 174.803.
Bourdais clips the curb in turn one on his second lap. He wiggles but stays in the gas and runs 4th of 7 so far.
Half of the field has turned a time in qualifying Felix Rosenqvist holds the top spot with a 178.928.
Grosjean misses his mark in turn one. He runs inches from the wall off turn four on his first qualifying run on an oval, ever. Grosjean is 5th so far.
Alexander Rossi is running higher than anyone so far, through both cornesr. Inches from the wall off the corner and he jumps to the top of the board with a 179.589.
Will Power to the top of the board with a 180.618. He’ll start from the pole position at Gateway!
