Three rounds of qualifying are in play to set the starting lineup.
Indy Qualifying
Round 1 – Report
The field has been split into two groups. The top 6 from each group advance into round three.
Issues for Ryan Hunter-Reay in round one, he won’t set a time.
Pato O’Ward is on the closing seconds of his run and looking to climb into the top 6. He does it!
Marcus Ericsson is quickest in group A of round 1!
Romain Grosjean is under investigation for impeding the lap of McLaughlin. Following a review, no penalty.

Felix Rosenqvist is quickest in Group B. Josef Newgarden is well off the pace and he fails to advance out of round one.

The top 12 have advanced into round two. The top 6 will advance out of this 10 minute session.

Just seconds remain, Dixon is flying. He jumps to the top of the board! Palou is also flying as time is soon to expire, Palou returns to the top!
Rosenqvist bumps championship leader and teammate O’Ward out of the final round. He’s the last car to set a time.
