Tonight, it’s night one of a three-day show in Knoxville, Iowa. The half-mile of Knoxville Raceway is set for the opening night of the Late Model Nationals.

Green flag, Weiss leads early.

Lap 2, Tyler Erb fights back to take over the race lead.

Lap 5, Erb leads Weiss by 2.5 seconds. He runs low in one corner, high in the other.

Lap 12, Larson slides Marlar for 6th. Larson jumps right back to the cushion.

Lap 15, Davenport works inside of Weiss for 2nd. Weiss shuts the door as McCreadie closes on both of them.

9 to go, Davenport clears Weiss for 2nd.

Chris Simpson slows, caution.

Green, Erb launches from the cushion as Davenport looks to the inside in turn one. Erb holds the lead off turn two.

Larson slides McCreadie for 4th.

7 to go

7 to go, Larson builds momentum off the cushion. He has a run on Weiss but Weiss slides to the outside wall and slams the door shut. Larson looks to cross under him but instead he lifts and sticks with the top.

6 to go, Marlar folds the nose under the right front after jumping the cushion. He comes to a stop, caution.

Green, Erb leads from the cushion. Davenport slides him into turn one but Erb crosses under him off turn two to retakes the lead.

5 to go, Larson squeezes between Weiss and the outside wall to take 3rd away.

3 to go, Larson is running down Davenport. He dives to the inside back in turn one, Davenport shuts the door and Larson jumps over the inside berm.

2 to go, heavy damage for Hudson O’Neal, caution.

Green, Erb leads Davenport and Larson on the single file restart. Davenport looks to the inside in turn one but he can;t complete the pass off turn two.

1 to go, Larson knocks the cushion and closes on Davenport.
