Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 25 (1-25 / 113)

Green, Alljaier and Cindric run near even into turn one. Cindric noses ahead and clears Allgaier off turn two. Cindric drops to the bottom in turn three, Allgaier pulls back even on the outside, Cindric holds him off.

Lap 5, Cindric leads Allgaier and Berry around the outside lane.

Lap 7, Cindric attempts to block both lanes but he loses momentum in the process. Josh Berry is pushed clear. Cindric fights back to retake the lead.

Lap 11, Cindric gets shoved out of line. AJ Allmendinger takes over at the front as Cindric drops outside the top 10.

Lap 13, Brandon Jones takes over the lead with a push from Harrison Burton.

Lap 17, Allgaier gets Jeb Burton completely sideways. He skates across the track and saves it.

Lap 20, John Hunter Nemechek leads Harrison Burton on the outside lane.

2 to go in stage one, Jeb Burton leads a train on the inside and he pulls even with John Hunter Nemechek. He can’t complete the pass, Nemechek is clear into turn three.

1 to go, John Hunter Nemechek throws a block on Burton into turn three. Big crash behind them, caution.

They went four wide into turn three. Josh Berry and AJ Allmendinger slamed the outside wall.

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 25 (1-25 / 113)

Nemechek leads the field to the pit entry but Riley Herbst wins the race to the pit exit.

Green flag on stage two, Herbst is clear into turn one but he leaves the bottom lane open. John Hunter Nemechek pulls even on the inside.

Lap 40, Herbst leads Cindric as the entire field runs single file along the outside lane.

5 to go in stage two, Cindric jumps out of line from 2nd. Herbst blocks and they move to the bottom lane.

2 to go, Herbst leads as they run three wide for 2nd behind him.

1 to go, Blaine Perkins pulls inside of Herbst. Perkins noses ahead with a push from Moffitt.

Stage 3 – Report

Perkins leads the field to the pit entry but Herbst wins the race to the pit exit.

Green flag on stage three, Herbst is clear into turn one.

59 to go, Allgaier leads a charge on the inside lane. He clears Herbst and takes over the lead.

58 to go, Cindric leaves the bumper of Allgaier. He’s pushed to the lead with help from Herbst.

55 to go, Allgaier leads a charge on the inside lane. He’s clear with a push from Noah Gragson.

50 to go, Brett Moffitt leads a charge on the outside lane. He clears Allgaier, drops to the bottom and takes over the race lead.

48 to go, Moffitt gets too far out front and the field has a run. Jeb Burton works to the outside of Moffitt as Cindric works to the inside. Cindric takes over the lead.

45 to go, green flag pit stops are underway. Jeb Burton leads Cindric at the front.

38 to go, Bayley Currey is stalled on the pit lane and the caution is out. Riley Herbst and Austin Cindric cycle back to the front.

Green, Herbst is clear into turn one. He throws a block on Cindric off turn two. Gragson pulls even on the inside lane. Gragson is clear.

Big crash

25 to go, Brett Moffitt leads the train on the outside lane. He gets turned following a push from Jeb Burton! Moffitt comes down the banking and clips Noah Gragson. Gragson is sent straight into the outside wall. 10+ cars are collected as Gragson comes back down the banking. Gragson climbs out on his own and red flag is out.

Green, Brandon Jones leads Allgaier on the inside lane off turn two. Jeffrey Earnhardt clips the wall off turn two, he heads to the pit lane and the green is still out.

14 to go, Brandon Jones leads the outside lane with Allgaier on his bumper. Brandon Brown has a run on the inside lane, Brown leads.

13 to go, Brandon Jones pulls back even on the outside. He’s clear.

12 to go, Harrison Burton gets turned into turn three! He spins across the track and 10 more cars are collected. Big damage for Riley Herbst and more. The caution is back out.

It’s getting dark and there’s no lights at Talladega. Brandon Brown been handed the lead back. He was the leader at the last scoring loop.

NASCAR has called the race due to darkness! Brandon Brown wins at Talladega Superspeedway! That’s his first career win.
