Main Event – Report
Green flag, Madden is clear into turn one. Weiss and Owens run side by side for 2nd off turn two, Weiss holds 2nd into turn three.
Lap 2, Michael Chilton has lost a wheel, caution. Jenson Ford is also invovled.
Green, Madden leads Weiss once more.
Lap 6, Jonathan Davenport has charged into the top 10. He started in 21st.
Lap 9, Chris Ferguson runs wide and he’s forced to lift off turn two. Davenport takes over 9th.
Lap 20, Madden leads Weiss by 5 seconds. Most of the field is glued to the inside lane. Madden has caught the tail of the field.
Lap 21, Madden looks to the outside lane in an attempt to lap Kyle Strickler. He works to his right rear but Strickler shuts the door. They make left front to right rear contact. A lap later, same thing as Strickler shuts the door.
Lap 27, Weiss, Brandon Overton and Dale McDowell battle hard for 2nd. Overton takes the spot briefly, McDowell works inside of him. Dale McDowell to 2nd.
Lap 32, Chris Ferguson slows and heads for the pits, no caution.
10 to go, Madden leads McDowell by 5.3 seconds. Davenport drives by Owens to take 5th away.
2 to go, McDowell is closing on Madden in a hurry but he’s running out of time.
