Tonight, NASCAR goes dirt racing in Bristol, Tennessee. The half-mile of Bristol Motor Speedway is set to host the NASCAR Cup Series.

Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 75 (1-75 / 250)

Green flag, Custer is clear into turn one. Chase Briscoe takes over 2nd off turn two. He has a run into turn three, Briscoe dives to the inside of Custer and Briscoe leads the first lap.

Lap 12, Cole Custer hits the pit lane as his grill is covered in mud. Aric Almirola pits laps later with the same issue.

Lap 15, the caution is out. NASCAR will allow teams to clean the grill.

Green, Chase Briscoe leads as Kyle Larson takes over 2nd.

Lap 50, Chase Briscoe slices through lap traffic with Larson all over his bumper. Briscoe misses the corner and runs in the fluff! He’s got a flat right rear! Briscoe spins and the caution is out. Larson is handed the race lead.

Green, Larson leads Ty Dillon. Drivers are running all three lanes on the track.

Kyle Larson wins stage one on the Bristol Dirt Track!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 75 (76-150 / 250)

Larson and most of the field head for the pit lane. Daniel Suarez, Ross Chastain and Chase Briscoe stay out. Larson restarts in 4th with fresh tires.

Green flag on stage two, Suarez leads but Larson is on the top and coming to the front, he quickly climbs to 2nd.

Lap 91, Denny Hamlin slows with a mechanical issue.

Lap 92, Alex Bowman spins and the caution is out.

Green, Suarez holds the lead. Chastain takes over 2nd as Larson is trapped on the inside.

Lap 99, Alex Bowman, Kevin harvick, Corey LaJoie and Noah Gragson tangle off turn four. The caution is out.

Green, Suarez and Chastain run side by side for the lead. Suarez holds him off. Larson has dropped to 6th as he was stuck on the inside lane.

Lap 114, Brad Keselowski spins and the caution is out.

Lap 125, Suarez leads Bell and Larson as the top 3 run nose to tail around the top. Bell dives to the inside but he can’t complete the pass.

Lap 126

Lap 126, the caution is out for debris.

Green, Bell spins the tires. Suarez leads as Briscoe takes over 2nd. Corey LaJoie spins behind them, caution.

Green, Suarez and Briscoe run side by side into turn one. Briscoe forces him wide! Briscoe to the lead and Bell takes over 2nd. It’s raining lightly, no caution yet.

Chase Briscoe wins stage two at Bristol Motor Speedway!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 100 (151-250 / 250)

Briscoe pits from the lead. However, 15 cars have stayed out with weather surrounding the track.

The cars are rolling under caution. However, Christopher Bell spins down the track, under caution. NASCAR pulls the cars back to the pit lane.

If the race ended now, Briscoe would be the winner. Scoring is stopped at the end of stage two. When they drop the green flag, scoring resumes. Briscoe would restart in 16th as 15 cars stayed out. However, as of now, Briscoe is still the leader.

An hour later…

Kyle Busch and Joey Logano take over the front row. Briscoe restarts 16th, the first car to pit. Ross Chastain heads to the garage with engine issues.

Green, Kyle Busch runs wide into turn one. Tyler Reddick takes them three wide through the middle, Reddick leads.

89 to go, Cody Ware spins with help from Chase Elliott. Ricky Stenhouse Jr spins as he’s collected and the caution is out.

Green, Reddick leads as Austin Dillon and Joey Logano rub door to door for 2nd. Dillon takes 2nd and Kyle Busch follows him through on the top to take 3rd.

82 to go, Erik Jones spins, caution.

Green, Reddick leads as Dillon spins the tires on the inside. Logano takes 2nd.

73 to go, Logano puts the bumper to Reddick in turn one. He can’t get by.

Todd Gilliland spins on his own, caution.

Green, Reddick leads. Kyle Busch, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski run three wide for 2nd! Kyle Busch wins that battle on the outside lane.

50 to go, Briscoe slides Austin Dillon for 5th. Dillon is pushed in the fluff and Blaney slips by to claim 5th.

48 to go

48 to go, Ricky Stenhouse Jr slows, caution.

Green, Reddick and Kyle Busch run even off turn two. Austin Dillon slows and Kurt Busch is turned into the wall behind them, caution.

It’s raining under the caution for the second time. NASCAR pulls the cars to the pit lane once again.

30 minutes later…

About 30 minutes later, the cars are rolling once again.

Green, Briscoe shoves Reddick into turn one. Briscoe loses the nose and Kyle Busch holds 2nd.

21 to go, Briscoe dives to the inside of Kyle Busch for 2nd. They rub doors.

17 to go, Briscoe finally clears Kyle Busch via the inside lane, Briscoe runs 2nd.

15 to go, Reddick leads Briscoe by 0.6 seconds. Briscoe is closing slightly.

10 to go, Reddick leads Briscoe by two car lengths.

6 to go, Briscoe runs wide and loses some ground.

4 to go, Briscoe closes the gap back to two car lengths.

2 to go, Reddick has caught the tail of the field. The race for the win through lap traffic.

1 to go, Briscoe is on the bumper of Reddick! Briscoe drives it deep into turn three! He slides him, doors him and they both spin out!

Reddick gathers it up and he’s back on the gas. Kyle Busch drives right by off turn four and Kyle Busch wins at Bristol!
