A collection of Talladega news and photos. Talladega Superspeedway is a motorsports complex located in Talladega, AL. The race track is a 2.5 mile high banked oval which features many NASCAR events. It was formerly known as Alabama International Motor Superspeedway.

Kyle Larson had all kinds of problems at Talladega Superspeedway. The biggest was when he blew a rear tire down the back stretch at some 200 mph.

Hints of what we would see came from practice speeds. Kevin Harvick topped the charts at 204mph. These speeds came after a restrictor plate reduction back in April.
The combination of fast speeds and four Stewart-Haas Racing drivers that were determined to whoop the field created the scenario we saw on Sunday.

Unfortunately for Kurt Busch, he came up shy of of his second win of the 2018 season. Busch led the most laps of anyone on Sunday.
