Jimmie Johnson – 2019 Paint Scheme: Ally Financial (Video)

The 2019 No. 48 Ally Chevrolet Camaro Zl1 has been released by Jimmie Johnson on Good Morning America

This morning, 43-year-old racing driver, Jimmie Johnson visited the Good Morning America set in New York. The new paint scheme was released in a live segment of the show.

Since Jimmie Johnson began his NASCAR Cup Series career, he’s had backing from Lowe’s Home Improvement. For 2019, Johnson will enter a new stage in his career.

Ally Financial

Ally Financial (NYSE: ALLY) who has a Corporate Centers office in Charlotte, North Carolina will partner with the #48 Hendrick Motorsports machine.

“The off-season has been great. A bit of work has taken place. But, I definitely had some time to get away and go play with my family,” Jimmie Johnson said.

In addition, Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus has also parted ways. Knaus will more to the #24 team with William Byron. Kevin Meendering will now be the crew chief for Jimmie Johnson.

Johnson is a 7-time NASCAR champion. 2019 will be his 19th season in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series division. With 615 races to date, he’s collected 83 wins. Of the 175068 lap run, he’s been in the lead for 18703 of them.

Trevin

10-year-old Trevin was also on hand for the release. The young NASCAR fan from Florida has cystic fibrosis. He and Johnson lifted the cover off the car to reveal the new 2019 Ally paint scheme.

Hendrick Motorsports teamed with Make-A-Wish. With the help from Ally, they will be flying Trevin and his family to the 2019 Daytona 500.
