Come Saturday, 28 drivers ran 10-lap runs or more. Of those, Daniel Hemric sits at the top of the board. Austin Dillon posted the 2nd quickest average.
Richard Childress Racing have dominated the charts all weekend. RCR machines have run 77 races since the last trip to victory lane in the Daytona 500 to start last year.
In total, the team has collected 2 wins since the beginning of 2014. A major rules change in NASCAR is known to shake up the favorites. It’s possible RCR stands to benefit in their 50th year of operation.
Austin Dillon and Daniel Hemric have topped every chart this weekend, qualifying excluded. Dillon lead both practice session. Teammate Hemric was 2nd, in both sessions as well.
