Stage 1 – Report
Green flag, they run dead even into turn one. Blaney holds the momentum off the corner in the outside lane, he powers by off turn two.
Penalty: Chase Elliott beat the leader to the start finish line on the start. He’s been handed a pass through penalty. He’ll stay on the lead lap following the pass through.
Lap 35, this race is changing quickly. Long run cars are moving to the front. Denny Hamlin is making the outside lane work, a lane to himself for now. At the front, Kyle Busch has run down Ryan Blaney.
Lap 36, Blaney is working on the lap car of Buescher off turn two. Busch picks the lane of Buescher. Blaney gets loose on the bottom and Kyle Busch pushes Buescher and himself by Blaney to take the lead. He used the lap car as a pick.
Lap 38, Erik Jones has a flat tire. He’s around with minimal contact to the wall.
The field heads to the pit lane. Denny Hamlin, Austin Dillon and Jimmie Johnson take two tires.
Restart, Hamlin is clear by a car length into turn one. Busch is coming in a hurry around the outside. Hamlin leads one lap, Busch swings around the outside wise ease to reclaim the lead.
Lap 63, Something has broken on the right front of Keselowski’s. He makes light contact with the wall. The caution is out.
Kyle Busch, Hamlin and others pit. 10 cars stay on the track. Suarez has stalled during the caution laps. He hit the kill switch and was unable to re-fire. The crew has changed the battery.
Green, Almirola stumbles on the inside line. Blaney leads on the outside.

Stage 2 – Report
Kyle Busch and others stay out. Blaney leads half the field to the pit lane.
Green flag on stage 2, Kyle Busch leads. They run 5 wide for 10th. The apron in turn one has a lot of speed with the new rules package.
Kyle Busch remains the leader. Clint Bowyer trails him by 3 seconds.
The field has strung out over the long run. Chase Elliott has climbed back into the top 10 after the penalty on lap one.
3 to go in stage two, Alex Bowman is in the wall with a possible flat tire. The caution is out.
Kyle Busch wins stage two under yellow.

Stage 3 – Report
The field heads for the pit lane. Kyle Busch is first in and first off.
Green, Kyle Busch leads Clint Bowyer into turn one. Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney run four wide outside the top 5.
Lap 160, Buescher is slow off turn two. He goes straight into turn three with the wheels locked. He tags the wall and the caution is out. His throttle was stuck open and he jumped on the brakes in the middle of the straight away.
Green, Busch leads. Bowyer holds 2nd.
Alex Bowman has lost another right front tire. He collects the wall and brings out the caution.
The field returns to the pit lane. Johnson is first off with two tires. Kyle Busch is off 2nd.
Restart, Johnson hangs with him into turn one. Busch takes it to the apron, gases the center and leads off turn two. Three wide for 4th behind them.
93 to go
Chase Elliott spins from 8th! He had a loose wheel. No contact and no damage.
The field returns to the pit lane. Dillon takes no tires. Five cars take two. Busch will restart in 7th.
Restart, Hemric leads into turn one, Almirola gets him off turn two. Five wide behind them! Preece is around off turn two. He got loose off turn two. They were three wide. While he collected it, he turned off the wall and spun himself across the nose of Suarez.
Restart, Almirola leads. They run four wide for 2nd. Kyle Busch lifts on the bottom. Ryan Preece brings out another caution for debris. Clint Bowyer and Harvick roll the dice and head to the pit lane.
Restart, Almirola gets the jump. Dillon gets loose on the outside lane into turn one. That opens the door for Blaney on the inside. Blaney takes 2nd.
61 to go
Blaney is on the bumper of Almirola. Blaney rolls the middle, puts some air on his front nose and powers to the right rear of Almirola off turn two.
Blaney takes the lead into turn three. Kyle Busch has closed on both of them.
Kyle Busch moves to 2nd.
17 to go
Kyle Busch is there. He runs really wide into turn three. He has a ton of momentum off turn two. He crosses to the bottom down the back stretch. Busch heads to the bottom into turn three.
Blaney holds him off on the outside. They run even through the dogleg. Busch runs the apron in turn one as they fight for space off turn two. Busch is clear off turn four.
6 to go, Austin Dillon is out of gas. He heads to the pit lane.
2 to go, Kyle Busch leads Truex Jr by 2 seconds. Blaney is saving fuel.
Kyle Busch wins the NASCAR race in Phoenix, Arizona. That’s win 199 for him!
