NASCAR driver set to run several dirt races during off-season
For 2021, Chase Briscoe has been handed a promotion. The driver will move from the NASCAR Xfinity Series to the NASCAR Cup Series.
Ahead of that new step in his career, Briscoe is set to run select dirt track events during NASCAR’s brief off-season.
Briscoe will join Chase Elliott as they both compete at the Chili Bowl Nationals & Millbridge Speedway. Both events are dirt midget events.
Briscoe dirt midget will have primary backing from Tex-a-con Cut Stone.
Chase Briscoe talks off-season dirt racing events
Back in August, Briscoe released a different graphic rendering of his dirt midget. That graphic featuring sponsorship from Shiti Coolers, which would have been the most awesome race car sponsorship ever.
Briscoe explained why the wrap has been changed, “Just was more than they were wanting to spend. Wish it woulda worked out!”
Briscoe also commented on the tiny gas tank used in the render of both cars which as soon to be driven by Briscoe and Elliott. Briscoe clarified, “Chase’s car won’t have it, mine will. It just makes the weight more centered and then it’s also way harder to get spun out.”
The Millbridge Speedway event is hosted in Salisbury, NC. That event takes place on Dec. 12-13, 2020.
The Chili Bowl Nationals is a famed indoor dirt midget event. The race will run from Jan. 11-16 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In February, Chase Briscoe will make his debut in the No. 14 with Stewart-Haas Racing at Daytona International Speedway.
