Bristol Dirt race format announced (NASCAR Dirt Schedule)

The NASCAR dirt race at Bristol Motor Speedway will feature heat races and practice

They’ve filled Bristol Motor Speedway with dirt. The NASCAR Cup Series is set to race on a dirt track for the first time since 1970. They’ll be joined by the NASCAR Truck Series for a thrilling weekend on March 26-28, 2021.

For most NASCAR race in 2021, the events are being hosted without practice or qualifying. However, the Bristol dirt event will have both.

On Friday March 26th, both divisions will take to the track for practice. Fans will be allowed entry for $15.

15-lap heat races will be used to declare the starting positions for both the Cup and Truck races. Four cup heats and four Truck heats will be run on Saturday.
