This is the first time they’ve raced at this track since 2019. It’s also the first time they’re racing the carousel with this package. 750hp is fitted under the hood with low downforce as well.

Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 20 (1-20 / 90)
Green flag, Larson is clear before turn one. Elliott holds 2nd.
Lap 4, Christopher Bell hits the pit lane under green. The deck and hood have both been lifted but they’re able to get it fixed.
Lap 10, Elliott, Larson, Bowman, Busch, Hamlin, Wallace, Chastain and others hit the pit lane. This is one lap before the competition caution.
Lap 11
Lap 11, the competition caution is out. Larson cycles back to the lead.
Green, Larson and Elliott run side by side through turn one and turn two. Larson holds him off and wins the race into turn three. Truex Jr has climbed into the top 5 from 19th.
3 to go in stage one, Byron and others hit the pit lane. Elliott and Larson stay out but NASCAR may have closed pit road a lap earlier than Hendrick expected.
Pit Penalty: Wallace has been caught speeding on pit road.

Stage 2 – Report
Laps: 20 (21-40 / 90)
Larson, Elliott, Truex and others hit the pit lane. Kurt Busch will restart with the race lead. Larson restarts in 15th.
Green flag on stage two, Busch clears DiBenedetto. Deeper in the field, Larson struggles to get rolling in the outside lane as Elliott drives by him on the inside.
Lap 27, Larson and Elliott battle for 9th. They slice through the field together on newer tires.
Lap 30, Larson has sliced through the field. He’s up to 2nd as Byron leads by 3.5 seconds.
Lap 31
Lap 31, Ricky Stenhouse Jr has a flat tire in turn one and he slams the wall. The caution is out.
Byron leads most the leaders to the pit lane. 16 cars stay out, including Larson and Truex.
Green, Larson clears Truex Jr in turn one. Corey LaJoie gets into the back of Erik Jones as Jones tried to close the door when he was already there. LaJoie sends him into the dirt, no caution.
2 to go in stage two, Bubba Wallace has a flat left rear. Truex Jr hits the pit lane as Larson stays out.

Stage 3 – Report
Laps: 50 (41-90 / 90)
Larson, Logano and Bowman pit. Many stay out due to a mix of strategies. Kurt Busch returns to the lead with Elliott in 2nd. Truex restarts 15th and Larson restarts 21st.
Green flag on stage three, Busch clears Elliott into turn one as Elliott and Byron battle for 2nd. Elliott holds the spot. Martin Truex Jr nearly turns Blaney in turn 7.
Lap 45, Elliott has a run on Busch off turn 10. He looks to the inside in turn 11 and takes the race lead.
40 to go, Elliott leads Busch by 4 seconds. Truex Jr has climbed to 3rd. Larson is on his bumper in 4th.
39 to go, Larson has a run on Truex Jr into turn 7. He dives to the inside and takes over 3rd under braking.
38 to go, Larson slides in turn six as he uses every inch of the track. He has a run on Kyle Busch into turn 7. Larson to the inside under braking and he’s clear. Elliott leads Larson by 4.5 seconds.
34 to go
34 to go, Larson has climbed to the rear bumper of Elliott in the battle for the lead. Larson runs wide in turn 6 and can’t get to him in turn 7.
33 to go, Larson has a run out of turn 6, he dives to the inside in turn 7. Larson runs wide and Elliott attempts a crossover but can’t retake the spot. Larson returns to the lead.
29 to go, Elliott pits from 3rd.
28 to go, Truex Jr hits the pit lane.
27 to go, Larson pits from the race lead.
Larson cycles out in 10th, behind Truex Jr. Larson is coming to the front in a hurry.
23 to go
23 to go, Kyle Busch leads. Larson is slicing through field on slightly fresher tires. He’s climbed all the way to 2nd and trails Kyle Busch by 2 seconds.
22 to go, Larson has caught the bumper of Kyle Busch. He dives to the inside in turn 7, clear. Larson returns to the lead.
19 to go, Quin Houff has stalled and the caution is out! Brad Keselowski hit the pit lane just before NASCAR threw the green flag.
Larson, Truex and everyone else hits the pit lane under caution. Many stay out including Logano, Reddick, LaJoie and Alfredo. Larson restarts in 6th.
Green, Logano leads Reddick into turn one. Larson works to 3rd by turn 7.
15 to go
15 to go, Larson has a run on Logano out of turn 6. He outbrakes him into turn 7 and retakes the lead.
14 to go, Chastain gets into the back of LaJoie in turn 11. He’s turned and multiple cars are collected. Heavy damage for Kevin Harvick and William Byron. The caution is out.
Green, Larson and Logano run side by side through turn one. They remain side by side in turn two. Larson has the inside lane in turn three, he’s clear.
5 to go, Ryan Preece spins i the esses. Preece oulls out of the dirt, Cody Ware pulls out of the smoke screen and drives right into the back of Preece as he re-entered the track. The caution is out.
Green, Larson clears Elliott in turn one. Alfredo is around behind them after getting pushes by Alex Bowman into the carousel, caution.

Green, Larson leads Elliott into turn two. Elliott leans on his rear bumper back can’t take the spot. Elliott tried to get to his bumper in turn 7.
White flag, Larson leads Elliott by 2 car lengths. Elliott closes to within a few feet in turn 7 but Larson opens the gap through the esses.
