Joey Logano’s 2023 NASCAR paint scheme has leaked

A photo of Team Penske’s Pennzoil car has found the internet

Joey Logano enters the 2023 as the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion. Though, the 32-year-old might look a little different this year thanks to a new batch of hair follicles following a treatment during the off-season.

The #22 car will also look very different. A photo of Logano’s Pennzoil scheme as leaked on the internet. The photo was taken at the Team Penske shop in North Carolina.

It looks close to a retro Pennzoil car. Steve Park ran a very similar theme while racing for Dale Earnhardt, Inc.

Logano is now a two-time series champion. His first with the series came back in 2018 and he grabbed another title in 2022.

The car is likely to be used in the Pennzoil 400 at Vegas. For that event, both Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney usually run Pennzoil paint schemes. NASCAR unloads in Vegas for the race on March 5th.

However, the car shown below could also be used in The Clash.

Jordan Erickson of Team Penske tweeted, “Steve kills it with all the Pennzoil cars. Super modern last year to type retro vibes for next year.”

Logano has 31 victories in 501 starts. He’s led 9293 laps over his 15 year career.

The 2023 NASCAR season begins with The Clash at the Coliseum on February 5th, 2023. Logano is the defending winner of the event.
