Ty Dillon takes over No. 25 truck in 2024

Rackley W.A.R. has signed Ty Dillon for the 2024 season. He’ll drive the No. 25 machine in the NASCAR Truck Series.

Ty Dillon raced full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series last season with Spire Motorsports. Before that, he also ran full-time with Petty GMS Motorsports and Germain Racing.

Last season, Matt DiBenedetto drove the No. 25 truck. However, just after being eliminated from the playoffs, DiBenedetto was let out of his contract and he didn’t finish the season with the team.

Since 2014, Dillon has only 11 NASCAR Truck Series starts. He ran full-time in 2012 and 2013 before Richard Childress Racing closed their truck program.

Rackley W.A.R. is set to begin their 4th season of NASCAR Truck competition. 2023 was their first appearance in the playoffs.

With 58 Truck Series starts, Dillon has collected three race wins and twenty top-5s.

“I’m excited to go back to the Truck Series and compete in the series that got it all started for me,” Dillon said.

“I have a lot of good memories from earlier in my career with winning races and poles, and our goal is to create more this season. I’m very appreciative of this opportunity and ready to get started in Daytona.”
