Rette Jones Racing signs Conor Daly
Conor Daly is set to make his first start in the ARCA Menards Series. He’ll join the field this Friday at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, OH.

The 32-year-old will drive the No. 30 machine for Rette Jones Racing in the ARCA race. The car has sponsorship from Polkadot.
The driver comes from an open wheel background. Last month, he finished 10th in the famed Indy 500.
Conor Daly comments
“Very excited to finally make my ARCA debut with Rette Jones Racing,” Conor Daly stated via a team release.
“This opportunity came up pretty last minute, but I love Mid-Ohio and really enjoy racing there. I’ve have raced a Truck there and so I have a little bit of heavy car experience there.”
“I have run well in an IndyCar there in the past. Excited for this chance. Excited to see what this series is all about. I have a lot to learn obviously.”
“I appreciate that the fact that Polkadot is supporting us throughout this effort,” Daly added.
“We want to go be competitive, and we’ll see how it goes. I want to say thanks to all the folks that made this happen. Mark Rette has been really helpful in getting me into the game and we’re going to go and try and win a race together.”
Daly has run 8 Indycar races at Mid-Ohio. He has a best finish of 6th which he claimed in 2016. Last year, he ran the NASCAR Truck Series event at the track.
