Race Report
Green flag, Sawalich is clear via the inside lane off turn two. Ruggiero holds 2nd.
Lap 20, Christian Rose tags the left rear of Amber Balcaen and they’re both around. The caution is out.
Green, Sawalich and Ruggiero run side by side into turn one. Sawalich wins the race off turn two. Andres Perez follows him through on the inside to take over 2nd.
Lap 50, Sawalich leads Perez by 1.3 seconds.
Lap 60, Gio Ruggoero turns the lap car of Amber Balcaen into turn one. The caution is out.
Green, Sawalich and Perez run side by side at the front. He hangs with him but Sawalich eventually clears him on the inside lane.
Race break
Lap 77, the first race break caution is out.
Green, Perez drives it deep on the outside into turn one. They remain even into turn three. After several laps, Perez is nearly clear. He tries to clear himself but Sawalich leans into his fender. Sawalich holds the lead.
Lap 104, Presley Sorah is up in smoke and the caution is out.
Green, Sawalich clears Perez.
Race break
Lap 126, the second race break caution is out.
Green, Perez drives it deep on the outside once more. He nearly clear him as they rub fenders. Sawalich holds him off to keep the lead.
43 to go, Tim Monroe is around caution.
Green, Sawalich is clear off turn two. Ruggiero runs 2nd.
28 to go, Michael Maples is around, caution.
Green, Perez shoves Sawalich from row two and run him up the track! Perez works under him and they form three wide for the lead. They rub fenders and fight for space. Ruggiero to the lead on the outside! Perez spins through the infield off turn four. Amber Balcaen slams the outside wall and the red flag is out.
Green, Ruggiero and Sawalich run side by side into turn one. Sawalich pinches him at the exit of turn two. Sawalich returns to the lead!
Sawalich is driving away.
