Anton Hernadez has been disqualified; Driver and series issue statements
On Tuesday night, 275 drivers took to the track for the opening night of the Tulsa Shootout. The micro event is a near week long show taking place ahead of the famed Chili Bowl Nationals on the same bullring dirt track.
Of the 275 drivers, four of them Winged Outlaw cars were randomly sent to tech. Anton Hernadez has been disqualified after his car owner Buddy Lee wouldn’t allow officials to tech the engine.
Hernadez will continue to race in the non-wing division while racing his own equipment in that class.
