Spectators transported to hospital after being hit by a dirt late model
Senoia Raceway is a dirt track located in Senoia, Georgia. On Saturday night, the track hosted a big 4th of July weekend show.
The 3/8-mile dirt track brought in multiple race classes for the program. The Hunt The Front Series battled for $15,000 to win with support classes featuring Modified, Charger, 602 crate and 604 crate divisions.
A horrific incident took place during a 604 race as a late model climbed the wall. The car went through the fence, striking spectators.
Per a release from the track, three spectators have been injured. They were transported to a hospital following the incident.

Senoia Raceway Statement
Just hours after the incident, the track issued the following statement:
“During tonight’s event at Senoia Raceway, an on-track incident occurred that resulted in injuries to three spectators,’ the track opened.
“Emergency personnel responded immediately, and the individuals involved were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation. We have been informed that all parties are alert and receiving care.”
“At this time, details regarding the extent of the injuries are still being gathered. Out of respect for the individuals and their families, we are keeping further information private until more is known.”
“Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by this incident. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.”
“We extend our heartfelt support to the individuals and their loved ones during this time.”
