On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series raced on the 5/8-mile of North Wilkesboro Speedway. It was the first points race at the North Carolina track since 1996.

Joey Logano held off Denny Hamlin in the final stages of the race. Logano drove to his first race win of the 2026 season.
Denny Hamlin came in 2nd and as a result he has extended his point lead at the finish. Tyler Reddick continues his string of bad luck after Alex Bowman made contact with him during a green flag pit cycle.
