Frankie Muniz jokes that Chevy owners should lose the right to vote

“You felt it. You knew it was a terrible choice. And you chose it anyway.”

Actor turned NASCAR driver Frankie Muniz chose violence today. He’s stirring up the internet with a post just ahead of today’s race.

“I’m convinced a meaningful portion of the population should be permanently stripped of the right to vote,” Muniz opened.

“Anyone who test drives a Chevy, experiences the full disappointment in real time, and still walks into the dealership to buy one has demonstrated judgment so catastrophically broken that the franchise must be revoked on the spot. You felt it. You knew it was a terrible choice. And you chose it anyway.”

He concluded, “There are simply no words.”

Muniz confirmed he was trolling.

He later added, “I love stirring the pot. It’s funny how many people get so bu** hurt that they have to respond.”

The now 40-year-old has been in the Ford Performance driver pipeline for 3 years. He first joined Ford in 2023 for the ARCA Menards Series season.

Since 2025, he has raced full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series. He drives a Ford F-150 fielded by Reaume Brothers Racing.

Muniz also competes in Sportscar events while piloting a Ford Mustang GT4.

Today, he raced in the NASCAR Truck Series race at Richmond Raceway. The comments above were made just hours before the race.

Richmond Race Results: August 15, 2026 (NASCAR Truck Series)
