Ryan Blaney, Austin Cindric swap pit crews for Darlington Raceway

Team Penske has made major changes for the first race of The Chase

This weekend, NASCAR is heading to Darlington Raceway. The race on the 1.366-mile oval will be the first of 10 races in The Chase.

Ahead of the event, Team Penske drivers Ryan Blaney and Austin Cindric have made over the wall pit crew changes.

After the points reset, Ryan Blaney enters The Chase in 2nd. He sits just 25 points behind leader Denny Hamlin.

Austin Cindric made The Chase on the bubble. He enters as seed 15 of the 16 drivers eligible.

As far as pit crew performance, Blaney’s crew was ranked 32nd of the 35 full-time entries. Cindric’s crew was ranked 10th overall. This data comes from NASCAR Insights.

Heading into Darlington, Blaney will inherit all of Cindric’s crew and vise-versa.

The crew member changes were noted in the in the roster for the weekend.
