The event is a double-header weekend of racing on “The Paperclip”. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series fields are on the ticket. The NASCAR Xfinity Series has the week off.
It’s a condensed weekend for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The division is only on the track for two days this weekend instead of the usually three-day show.
Rules Package: The drivers will have all the horsepower from last year with the tapered spacer removed. They’ll also have all the added downforce of the new 2019 rules package. The combination of those things will likely break the track record this weekend.
