Tonight, the race weekend at Florence Speedway comes to a close. The half-mile dirt track hosts the 100-lap dirt late model event paying $50,000 to win.

Report
Donald McIntosh and Mike Benedum lead them to the starting line. The top two advance.
Green, Benedum leads.
Lap 6, car around in turn four. The caution is out.
Green, Benedum leads. Richards takes 2nd.
Bendeum opens a gap.
Coming to the white, Kent Robinson is on the bumper of Richards for the final transfer spot. He works to his outside off turn four.
They run side by side into turn one. Richards runs him wide and stuff him in the wall.
Benedum wins and Richards runs 2nd.
Robinson has chased down Richards after the checkered. He knocks him square on the rear bumper as they roll through the infield and to the scales. Robinson pulls alongside to throw some hand gestures before cutting off Benedum at the scales.
He crusises across the scales and to the pits. No need for him to stop at the scales, he doesn’t qualify.
B-Main 2
Report
Nick Hoffman and Dale McDowell exit the pit area ahead of B Main number two. Only the top 2 transfer.
Green, Hoffman leads on the bottom. McDowell holds 2nd.
Lap 5, Buckingham is on the bumper of McDowell for 2nd. McDowell opens that gap to hold the position.
Hoffman takes the win and McDowell runs 2nd.
B-Main 3
Report
Zack Dohm and Brondon Overton head for the starting line in the final B Main of the weekend. The top two will grab the final transfer spots for the main event.
Green, Dohm leads by a car length on the bottom in turn one.
Overton is on the gas around the top. He pulled to the right rear if Dohm off turn two. Dohm leaves the lane open.
Overton drives by on the outside. He leads into turn three.
Lap 8, car around on the front stretch and the caution is out. McCreadie pulls off.
Green, Overton leads Dohm. They both drive away from Jameson.
Brandon Overton wins the final B Main of the night. Zack Dohm grabs the final transfer spot.
North South 100
Report
It’s an all Tennessee front row. Jimmy Owens and Scott Bloomquist rest on the front stretch at the front of the lineup.
The field forms a four wide salute for the Kentucky dirt racing fans. The 100 lap main event will pay $50,000 to the race winner. We’re off…
Green flag, Owens gets the jump. Pierce looks inside of Bloomquist for 2nd. Car around in turn two and the caution is out.
Green, Owens is clear in turn one. Pierce works under Bloomquist and completes the pass for 2nd in turn three.
Lap 2, McDowell is slow with a flat right front. The caution is back out.
Green, Owens leads. Bloomquist works clear on the outside of Pierce off turn two. Bloomquist back to 2nd. Pierce falls to 5th.
Lap 10, Hudson O’Neal is all over Bloomquidt for 2nd. Pierce is closing behind them as he’s found speed against the cushion.
Lap 17, Hudson O’Neal works by Bloomquist and the #0 tucks in behind him. Pierce pulls to his door with an open lane on the top. Pierce to 3rd.
Lap 18, Bronson is slow down the back and the caution is out.
Green, Owens leads. Pierce has a run around the top. He’s on the back bumper of Owens off turn two. He crosses under him and slides him in turn three. Pierce holds the lead off turn four.
Lap 33, Pierce struggles with the lap car of Benedum and the group in front of him. Owens closes to the rear bumper.
Owens to the inside. Pierce is nearly pinched into the wall in turn two as he worked to the outside of the lap car. Owens leads and opens the gap.
Lap 39, McCreadie is slow with a flat tire and the caution is out.
Green, Owens leads. Pierce and O’Neal run side by side for 2nd. Pierce completes that pass several laps later with a scrape of the right rear on the turn two wall.
Lap 46, Mike Marlar slides O’Neal for 3rd in turn three. O’Neal crosses under him to retake’s the spot. Marlar hits the cushion once more and drives by for the second time.
Pierce is entering turn one through the middle. He slides up the banking until the cushion stops him. He pounds off the cushion, lap after lap. He’s running down the leader.
Lap 58, the caution is out as Bronson has a flat.
Green, Owens leads. Bad restart for Pierce as he falls to 5th into turn one. Madden and Marlar battle for 2nd, Madden wins that into turn three.
Lap 61, the caution is back out. Bloomquist and more head to the pits.
Green, Owens leads Madden and O’Neal. Pierce is on the gas around the top, he takes 3rd.
Lap 65, the top three have broken away. Owens runs the middle, Madden down low and Pierce up high.
Lap 70, Pierce slides off turn four and falls to 4th. McCreadie is up to 7th after starting at the tail.
Lap 72, Pierce has stopped in turn four. The caution is out as he climbs from the car and the car is off on the hook.
Green, Owens leads. Hudson O’Neal works to the inside if Madden into turn one but Madden holds him off two.
Lap 75, Madden is on the bumper of Owens for the lead. He looks to his inside. They run door to door off turn two. The remain side by side for another lap. Madden crowds him in turn four and he’s clear. Madden leads.
Owens isn’t done. He can get close to his right rear but can’t pull alongside as Owens has moved to the cushion.
Lap 80, slow car on the front and the caution is out.
Green, Owens leads. Moran slides into the door of Weiss for 4th.
Moran works to the inside of O’Neal for 3rd. He bangs doors to make the hole. O’Neal pinches him down off turn two but Moran slides him in turn three.
Lap 96, the caution is out for a slow car in turn two.
Green, Madden leads. Owens and O’Neal run side by side for 2nd. O’Neal takes that spot and sets sights on the leader. But, Madden is too far ahead after they battled for 2nd.
