Meseraull: “Destroyed everything I work so hard to build this year”

On Thursday night, the USAC National Midget Series unloaded in Indianapolis, Indiana. It was the second and finale night on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Dirt Track in the BC39 tribute event.

The 1/4-mile dirt track saw a whale of a feature race. It was bullring dirt track racing at it’s finest, from start to finish.

Meseraull was in the fight for the lead early in the event. Near the halfway point, Meseraull finally grabbed the lead following a mistake from Pursley.

On lap 22, Meseruall found himself in a heated battle with dirt track domination, Kyle Larson. The two drivers traded slider after slider.

In the closing laps, Larson was leading. Both Justin Grant and Thomas Meseraull slid Larson, at the same time. Grant cleared him, Larson checked up and Meseruall ran into the side of Larson.

Meseruall spun following the contact with Larson. Larson returned to the lead as Meseruall went to the pit area.

However, things went slightly worse for Meseruall as he pulled his merchandise trailer out of the facility. The top of the trailer didn’t clear the gate that went under the 2.5-mile oval at Indianapolis.

In the photos below, you’ll see the trailer after going through what appears to be a can opener.

Meseraull sent out the photos with the caption, “Destroyed everything I work so hard to build this year in one wrong turn. Some of the things said online are unreal but would you miss me if I was gone?”
