The LA Coliseum is set to host the Busch Clash. The exhibition race will begin the 2022 season on February 6.

The track will be a 1/4-mile asphalt oval. The first time the NASCAR Cup Series has run on such a small track in the modern era. It’s never been done on such a large scale.

Construction has begun on the new Los Angeles, California NASCAR track. The temporary track is estimated to cost $1 million.

As of yesterday, NASCAR worked out the rules package for short tracks in the 2022 season. The cars will be fitted with 670hp as well as a low downforce 4″ spoiler.

A few weeks ago, Bowman Gray Stadium hosted a test with the Next Gen car. The track will be similar in shape to the LA Coliseum. You can watch a video of that test in the link below.
