NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace featured in Twitter billboard campaign

Years ago, Bubba Wallace dreamed of racing part-time in what is now the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He far exceeded those dreams.

Back in 2014, Wallace tweeted, “I dream of racing in the nationwide series a few times a year.”

Bubba Wallace made his full-time debut in the NASCAR Truck Series back in 2013. He was driving for Kyle Busch Motorsports.

Wallace picked up a win in his debut 2013 season. That was followed by four wins in 2014.

For 2015, Wallace was handed a full-time ride in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He spent the next three years in the division, driving for Roush Fenway Racing.

In 2018, Wallace was signed to drive full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for Richard Petty Motorsports. He best run with the team came in the 2018 Daytona 500, finishing 2nd.

In 2021, Wallace signed with 23XI Racing, a new team created by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan. He won his first career NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.

Wallace’s story in now a part of a national twitter campaign which has billboards placed all over the country. The NASCAR driver’s billboard has been placed in Los Angeles, California.

Wallace reacted to the billboard saying, “Dream big. Accomplish more! Thank you for the inclusion, Twitter.”

The city is set to host the Busch Clash in just a few weeks. The race takes place on a 1/4-mile track inside the LA Coliseum.

Other billboards feature Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, singer Demi Lovato and Oscar winner Matthew Cherry.
