NASCAR qualifying order for Las Vegas Motor Speedway
This weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series will roll to the green flag in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 1.5-mile track of Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosts the third race of the racing season.

NASCAR has split the field into two groups. A metric of points position, the finish from last week and their fastest lap from the previous week have been used to set the order for qualifying.
The top 5 drivers from each ground will head into a second round of qualifying. That times are reset for the second round as they make a run for the pole position.
NASCAR Cup Series qualifying will take place on Saturday.
