Over the weekend, Texas Motor Speedway hosted a triple-header race weekend. It concluded Sunday with the All-Star Race.

Sunday’s Cup race ended in drama. A caution was thrown just a few hundred feet before the finish line. Thinking he won, Blaney took down his window net. Blaney then only partially reinstalled the net before winning the race in overtime. 2nd place finished Denny Hamlin wanted him to be handed the black flag.
Those on-track calls weren’t made. Ryan Blaney is still the winner and no penalties have been handed out for that situation.
Two NASCAR teams are on the penalty report after the week in Texas. Penalties have been issued to the Kaulig Racing No. 16 driven by AJ Allmendinger in the NASCAR Xfinity Series as well as the Kyle Busch Motorsports No. 18 driven by Chandler Smith in the Truck Series. Each penalty is for a single loose lug nut discovered in post-race inspection.
