Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 90 (1-90 / 300)

Green flag, Hamlin is clear before turn one. Kyle Larson follows him through on the inside lane to take over 2nd.

Lap 24, Daniel Suarez has a run on Kyle Larson. Larson waves him by, Suarez to 2nd.

Lap 41, Josh Bilicki slows, caution. With lightning in the area, NASCAR has elected to pull the field to the pit lane.

Weather delay

After a lengthy delay, the cars are fired. Hamlin leads them to the pit lane and pit exit.

Green, Hamlin gets the jump as Suarez holds 2nd on the outside.

Lap 50, William Byron hits the pit lane with a mechanical issue under green. As Byron hits the pit lane, Alex Bowman is in the outside wall after getting turned by Corey LaJoie! The caution is out.

Lap 57, Martin Truex Jr works the outside lane. He gets to the right rear of Suarez and takes 2nd away.

Lap 61, Erik Jones and Chase Briscoe tangle, caution.

Green, Hamlin and Truex run side by side into turn one. Truex Jr noses ahead on the outside lane off turn two, Martin Truex Jr leads.

5 to go in stage one, Hamlin is all over the bumper of Truex Jr for the stage win. Truex moved to the top lane to take his lane away.

Martin Truex Jr holds him off to win stage 1 at Nashville Superspeedway!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 95 (91-185 / 300)

Truex Jr leads the field to the pit lane, Logano wins the race to the pit exit with a two tire call.

Green flag on stage 2, Logano is clear into turn on. Truex Jr heads for the top and he drives right by on the outside off turn two.

Lap 118, the caution is out for a light rain shower.

Pit Penalty: Larson drops to the rear for speeding on the pit lane. Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick make contact on the pit lane, both have minor damage and return to the pit lane a second time.

Green, Truex and Blaney run side by side for the lead. As they trade side drafts, Hamlin has a run on both of them. Three wide for the lead, Blaney falls to 3rd. Hamlin slides Truex Jr for the lead. Truex Jr crosses under him but Hamlin holds him off, Hamlin leads.

Weather delay #2

Lap 139, the red flag is out for lightning.

Several hours later, half the field heads for the pit lane. The top 10 stay out including Hamlin and Truex Jr.

Green, Truex and Hamlin run even into turn one. Hamlin finally clears Truex Jr on the outside lane.

15 to go in stage one, Truex Jr has moved to the top and found speed. He works to the rear rear of Hamlin and clears him to retake the lead.

2 to go in stage two, Hamlin trails Truex Jr by a car length. Truex Jr put him in dirty air and opens the gap.

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 115 (186-300 / 300)

Truex Jr is first in and first off. Slow stop for Hamlin, he’s off pit lane in 8th.

Green flag on stage three, Truex Jr and Kyle Busch run side by side for the lead. Busch slides him in turn three to take over the lead.

96 to go, Blaney gets loose off turn four. He slides across the track and the caution is out.

The top two stay out, Elliott pits from 3rd.

Green, Kyle Busch leads as they run three wide for 2nd. Kevin Harvick wins the battle for 2nd as Truex gets sideways.

56 to go, Chase Elliott has caught the bumper of Kyle Busch. He diamonds the exits and drives right by on the inside.

53 to go, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr pit under green for four tires.

52 to go, Elliott pits from the the lead.

46 to go

46 to go, Chris Buescher has lost a wheel after his pit stop! The caution is out. Kurt Busch leads as 13 cars have yet to pit.

Kurt Busch hits the pit lane and wins the race to the pit exit. Kyle Busch cycles back to the race lead. Kurt Busch restarts 8th with slightly fresher tires.

Green, Kyle Busch and Chase Elliott run side by side for the lead. Kurt Busch takes them three wide deeper in the field.

Kyle Busch wiggles, Chase Elliott takes over the lead.

29 to go, Kyle Busch is on the bumper of Chase Elliott for the race lead. Elliott runs a defensive line and puts him in dirty air.

10 to go, Elliott leads Kyle Busch by 1 second.

9 to go, Josh Bilicki has lost an engine and the caution is out!

Elliott stays out. Kyle Busch pits from 2nd. Kyle Busch restarts 11th with two fresh tires.

Green, Chase Elliott clears Kurt Busch into turn one. Cole Custer and Brad Keselowski make contact and both tag the outside wall, no caution.

1 to go, Chase Elliott leads Kurt Busch by six car lengths.
