Report
Green flag, Davenport launches from the cushion. McCowan noses ahead on the bottom in turn one. Davemport builds speed around the cushion and he pulls to his right rear off turn two.
Davenport leads into turn three, Tyler Bruening follows him through on the outside to take 2nd away.
40 to go, McCreadie slides Chris Simpson for 4th. He slides wide and over the edge of the banking, Simpson crosses under to retake the spot.
28 to go, Davenport works heavy lap traffic. He leads Bruening back a full straight.
25 to go, Chris Simpson, Tim McCreadie and Ricky Thornton Jr run three wide for 4th. Thornton Je wins the battle via the inside lane after starting 10th.
22 to go, Thornton Jr works to the bumper of Bruening for 2nd. They run three wide with lap traffic in the middle, Thornton Jr to 2nd!
20 to go, Davenport leads Thornton Jr by 2.8 seconds.
10 to go, Davenport leads Thornton Jr but the gap has closed to just 1 second.
9 to go, Davenport struggles with lap traffic as they run side by side ahead of the leader.
8 to go, Thornton Jr has closed to within a car length. Thornton Jr looks to the outside in turn three, Davenport holds him off. Thornton Jr looks for the crossover and they fight for space into turn one. Davenport holds him off.
