Green flag, Palou clears McLaughlin into turn one. Callum Ilott drives over the back of Kyle Kirkwood into turn one, caution.
Several drivers head for the pit lane for new tires.
Green, Palou leads as Grosjean works alongside McLaughlin to take 2nd away.
Lap 15, Palou leads Grosjean by 6.5 seconds.
Lap 22, Power has a run on Grosjean for 2nd. He dives inside and clears him, Power to 2nd. Palou leads by 10 seconds.
Lap 29, Grosjean misses the corner and he’s forced to loop it and rejoin the circuit.
Lap 30, Palou heads for the pit lane. He hands the lead to Power.
Lap 35, Power heads for the pit lane. He exits the pit lane and blends right behind Palou. Palou cycles to the lead.
Lap 36, Pato O’Ward has broken a driveshaft after exiting his pit box. No caution as he hasn’t entered the track surface. The team repairs the car and puts him back on track.
Lap 44, O’Ward runs wide at the exit of the corner and he slams it into the wall. The caution is out.
Green, Palou leads Power and Dixon. Graham Rahal is in the wall and he collects Benjamin Pedersen. Sting Ray Robb has also stalled, caution.
Green, Palou leads with Power all over his wing. Power dives inside into turn one, Power to the lead!
Lap 59, Agustin Canapino has been penalized for blocking.
Lap 65, Power locks up into turn three as his tires begin to wear. Alex Palou drives right by on the inside to take over the lead.
Lap 67
Lap 67, Palou and Power head for the pit lane. Palou wins the race to the pit exit.
Lap 70, Grosjean rubs on Newgarden and takes 8th.
20 to go, Romain Grosjean is in the wall! The caution is out as the car picks up heavy damage.
Green, David Malukas is in the wall on his own, caution.
Green with 10 to go, Power looks to the outside Palou. He looks to cross under him off the corner and he turns right into Dixon. Power’s engine goes into anti-stall and he falls to 3rd. Alexander Rossi takes 2nd away.
9 to go, Sting Ray Robb stalls, caution.
Green with 5 to go, Power dives inside of Rossi in turn four. Power returns to 2nd.
3 to go, Palou leads Power by 1 second.
2 to go, Felix Rosenqvist runs teammate Alexander Rossi wide and Rossi bounces off the concrete in the battle for 3rd, no caution.
