Stage 1 – Report

Laps: 20 (1-20 /82)

Green flag, Gibbs gets the jump and he’s clear before turn one. Allgaier wins the battle for 2nd into turn two.

Lap 4, Brennan Poole spins in the chicane after banging doors and fighting for space with Max McLaughlin. He keeps it rolling, no caution.

Lap 10, Chandler Smith and Jeremy Clements spin in the chicane, no caution. Clements heads to the pit lane with a flat tire.

2 to go in stage one, Sheldon Creed and Riley Herbst bang doors down the straightaway for 7th.

Ty Gibbs cruises to the stage one win at Watkins Glen International!

Stage 2 – Report

Laps: 20 (21-40 /82)

Lap 21, the caution is out as Ryan Ellis is stalled. Alex Bowman and Chandler Smith are on the pit lane as the yellow is thrown. Smith is trapped a lap down but Bowman is not.

The leaders head for the pit lane. Bowman cycles to the race lead.

Josh Williams has mangled the nose of his machine under the caution. The field checked up in front of him just as Williams was making a cockpit adjustment and he drove into the back of Parsons.

Green, Bowman and Gibbs run side by side into turn one. Gibbs drives it slightly deeper into the corner on the outside. Gibbs wins the race into turn two and retakes the lead.

Lap 31, Kaz Grala and Sammy Smith rub fenders into the bus stop. Grala nearly spins and he blows right through the chicane grass. He knocks signage in the process and throws it onto the race track, caution.

Green, Gibbs is clear into turn one. Allgaier and Bowman bang doors for 2nd.

Lap 35, Bowman has a run on Allgaier into turn one. He dives inside and takes 2nd away. Allgaier drops to 4th.

Lap 38, Riley Herbst pits under green with a mechanical issue.

1 to go in stage two, Connor Mosack is off in the sand trap. He keeps it rolling, no caution.

Ty Gibbs wins stage two!

Stage 3 – Report

Laps: 42 (41-82 /82)

Lap 47, Max McLaughlin runs wide in turn 7 and slams the wall on corner exit. The caution is out.

Ty Gibbs leads the field to the pit lane. Austin Hill wins the race to the pit exit. Kyle Weatherman stays out.

Green, Gibbs makes it three wide to the lead into turn one. He clears them all, Gibbs takes the lead right back.

19 to go, Cole Custer and Alex Bowman spin in turn one as they battle for 3rd! No caution as they both continue.

18 to go, Cole Custer wins wide into turn two. He’s off in the grass.

12 to go, Austin Hill pits from 2nd.

9 to go, Gibbs pits from the race lead for a splash of fuel. Other cars are staying on track as they’ve been saving fuel. Sam Mayer leads Allgaier.

8 to go, Gibbs dives inside of Creed to take 4th away. He quickly works by Bowman for 3rd.

8 to go, slow stop for Daniel Hemric.

7 to go

7 to go, Parker Retzlaff is stuck in the sand trap, caution.

Most of the field heads to the pit lane for tires and fuel. Mayer, Allgaier and Gibbs stay out.

Green, they form four wide for the lead into turn one. Gibbs and Mayer form side by side into turn two, they bang doors. He clears himself at the top of the hill and he forces Mayer wide. Gibbs pops out with the lead.

Justin Allgaier spins in front of the field with help from Cole Custer. He collects multiple cars and the caution is out.

Green in NASCAR Overtime, Sam Mayer drives deep into turn one and turns Ty Gibbs! No caution. Creed leaads Mayer into turn two!

Josh Berry spins, no caution.

Creed runs wide in turn 7 and Mayer looks inside.

1 to go, Mayer takes the lead away as he takes the white flag.
