Rajah Caruth to race for Hendrick Motorsports

Hendrick Motorsports adds two more entries for the 2023 season via the No. 17 car

Today, Hendrick Motorsports announced two additional races for their No. 17 Chevrolet Camaro entry. The car is fielded part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

First, Boris Said will drive in the Oct. 7 Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL. Later, Rajah Caruth will pilot the car at the season-ending race at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 4. Both entries will be sponsored by HendrickCars.com.

Said has a long history of entering NASCAR races. He’s a former 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring champion. He has 29 career Xfinity starts and a win which he claimed in 2010 at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Caruth has 15 Xfinity Series starts in the Xfinity Series. He has a career best finish of 12th which he claimed at Martinsville Speedway.

Caruth has claimed three top-10s in twenty NASCAR Truck Series starts so far this season.
