Tonight, the High Limit Sprint Car Series has unloaded in Rossburg, Ohio. The half-mile dirt track of Eldora Speedway is set to host the Joker’s Jackpot.

It’s the first night of a two-day High Limit show. Tomorrow, the field will race for $100,000 to win in the main event. Tonight, the field is split into two groups and each group will run their own main event paying $12,000 to win in each.
Main Event 1
Race Report
(Group A)
Garet Williamson and Logan Schuchart set the front row for the first main event of the night. 25 laps of dirt sprint car racing are up next…
Green, Williamson noses ahead into turn one but Schuchart pulls right to his bumper off turn two.
Lap 3, Cole Macedo jumps the cushion, knocks the wall and rolls down the banking and the red flag is out.
Green, Schuchart has a run on Williamson off turn two. He slides him for the lead into turn three. Williamson slides him back into turn one. Schuchart slides him yet again into turn three, Schuchart completes the pass and takes the lead away.
Lap 10, Schuchart has caught the tail of the field. Justin Peck closed to his fuel cell. But Brad Sweet is closing on both of them.
Lap 12, Sweet takes them three wide through the middle. Sweet to the lead in turn one! Schuchart and Peck cross under him as Sweet loses momentum. Sweet slides them again as they return to turn one but the caution is out!
Lap 13, Buddy Kofoid blows a tire, caution. Rico Abreu heads to the pit lane with a flat tire as well.
Green, Day spins, caution.
Green, Schuchart leads off turn two. Peck slides him into turn three but Schuchart crosses under him to retake the spot.

10 to go, Sweet slides Peck for 2nd. Peck crosses under him.
9 to go, Sweet pulls another slider and he holds the spot into turn one.
7 to go, Peck slides Sweet to reclaim 2nd.
6 to go, Peck bobbles on the cushion. Sweet takes 2nd away once more.
4 to go, Schuchart has caught the tail of the field. Sweet and Peck are closing fast.
2 to go, Peck slides Sweet for 2nd. Sweet slides him back into turn three.
1 to go, Schuchart leads by five car lengths. Donny Schatz takes 2nd away as he rolls the bottom.
Schatz pulls near even with the leader off turn four. Schuchart has momentum and he wins the race to the finish!

Green flag, Scelzi gets the jump and he’s clear into turn one.
24 to go, Kyle Larson slides Tyler Courtney for 4th. They make light contact as Courtney jumps on the brakes.
19 to go, Scelzi has caught the tail of the field.
17 to go, Larson knocks the cushion and works around Lynch for 3rd in turn four.
15 to go, Larson slides Brown for 2nd. Brown crosses under him to retake the spot.
12 to go, Larson slides Brown for 2nd into turn one. He completes the pass.
9 to go, Scelzi leads Larson by 5 seconds.
2 to go, Scelzi leads Larson by 2 seconds.
