Brandon Sheppard and Riggs Racing will part ways for the 2025 season

The musical chairs are set to continue…

For the past two years, Brandon Sheppard has raced the Longhorn Factory car fielded by Riggs Racing. After this season, the driver and team will part ways.

Sheppard is currently the championship leader in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series standings. He has three WoO wins so far.

For 2025, Sheppard will return to his family-owned B5 car.

Brandon Shepppard Racing: Statement

“I will be parting ways with the Longhorn Factory Team and Riggs Racing at the conclusion of the 2024 World of Outlaws CASE Late Model season,” Brandon Sheppard opened.

“It’s been a fun and good run with the Longhorn Factory Team and Riggs Racing, but we’ve amicably decided to go out separate ways at the end of this season. There’s no hard feelings or drama, we just are looking to different goals for 2025.”

“Steve Arpin and the Riggs Family have been good to me, and they’ll always be great friends. I wish those guys nothing but the best of luck, and I’m fully focused on ending our tenure together with a World of Outlaws title.”

“My final ride with the team will be on Nov. 6-9 during the World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.”

“As we look to the future, I’m actively working on details for our racing program. We are going to open the 2025 season at the Wild West Shootout in New Mexico in my family-owned B5, and then past that point we are still looking to lock some things down.”

“I’m open to marketing partners, who might be looking to get involved with my racing endeavors.”

Sheppard continued, “We continue to lead the latest WoO standings in pursuit of an unprecedented fifth series title. We are scheduled to resume action with the series this Saturday and Sunday at Senoia Raceway and the Talladega Short Track.”

“We currently hold a 54-point advantage atop the series’ standings.”

He added, “My comment on the leaked release: I’m a real person, our team consists of real people, with real sponsorship relationships. When you see people sharing these things without seeing it on the drivers social media – do the right thing. Be the good person. Don’t fall into the trap of likes & shares – this is my livelihood, my career, & my family.”

Jason and Scott Riggs comment

“We’re very proud of what we’ve been able to do together in the last 2 years,” said both Scott & Jason Riggs.

“We knew from the very start just how important it was for Brandon to be home close to the family, but still have a business partner who could support the team competing on a national tour while he transitioned into a new phase of his career.”
