NASCAR crew member suspended after Texas Motor Speedway

Over the weekend, NASCAR raced at Texas Motor Speedway. On Wednesday, NASCAR released their weekly penalty report and one crew member has been suspended.

Kaulig Racing will see their No. 10 crew chief suspended for the next Xfinity race at Charlotte. Multiple loose lug nuts have brought the suspension in addition to a fine.

Level: Safety

Infraction: Sections 8.8.10.4a: Tires and Wheels (Note: Lug nut(s) not properly installed.)

Penalty: The team has been fined $10,000. The crew chief (Kevin Walter) has been suspended from the next NASCAR Xfinity Series event, through and including Charlotte, May 24, 2025.
