Stage 1 – Report
Laps: 25 (1-25 / 109)
Green flag, Shane van Gisbergen wiggles and he clips the door of Reddick at the launch. Reddick straightens it out and he wins the race into turn one. Kyle Busch is crashed behind them with help from Carson Hocevar, no caution.
Lap 4, Reddick jumps the backstretch chicane curbing. Shane van Gisbergen rolls the exit and he gets to the outside of Reddick. Shane van Gisbergen has the inside for the next corner and he completes the pass for the lead.
Justin Haley turns Austin Cindric, no caution.
6 to go in stage one, the first pit cycle is complete. Shane van Gisbergen cycles back to the race lead.

Shane van Gisbergen leads the field to the pit lane. Kyle Larson wins the race to the pit exit. Larson restarts 11th as 10 cars stay out. AJ Allmendinger and Chris Buescher set the front row.
Green flag on stage two, Allmendinger is clear before turn one. Shane van Gisbergen is three wide in a hurry and coming back to the front.
Lap 33, Carson Hocevar locks up and he clips Austin Cindric. Cindric is around, no caution.
Lap 42, AJ Allmendinger and others dive for the pit lane under green. Shane van Gisbergen cycles to the lead as Kyle Larson clears Chris Buescher for 2nd.
2 to go in stage two, Shane van Gisbergen and many of the leaders pit.
Ryan Blaney stays out and he wins stage two on the Charlotte Roval!

Blaney and others head for the pit lane. Shane van Gisbergen cycles back to the race lead.
Green flag on stage three, Larson spins the tires and Shane van Gisbergen is clear into turn one. Christopher Bell takes over 2nd.
Lap 57, Bell leans on the bumper of van Gisbergen in the battle for the lead but he can’t clear him.
Lap 58, Austin Dillon is in the tire barrier with help from Zane Smith, caution.
Green, Bell has a look inside of van Gisbergen into turn one but he can’t clear him.
Lap 63, Larson has a run on van Gisbergen into the backstretch chicane. He dives inside and clears him. Larson to the lead. Christopher Bell follows him through to take 2nd.
Lap 72, Larson pits from the race lead under green as green flag stops are underway.
Lap 74, Larson cycles back to the race lead. Bell trails by 5 seconds.

29 to go, Larson now leads Shane van Gisbergen by 3.2 seconds. He’s closing fast as van Gisbergen is better on longer runs.
25 to go, Bell pits from 3rd. The green flag stop is underway.
23 to go, Shane van Gisbergen outbrakes Larson in turn seven. Shane van Gisbergen takes the lead away.
20 to go, Larson dives for the pit lane from 2nd.
19 to go, Brad Keselowski has pulled off the track with no power.
18 to go, Larson cycles back to the race lead. Bell trails by 1 second. A slow stop for van Gisbergen and he’s dropped to 3rd, 3 seconds behind the leader.
15 to go, Shane van Gisbergen to 2nd. He’s closing on Larson in a hurry.
14 to go, Shane van Gisbergen dives inside of Larson. They rub doors for the win! More contact in the backstretch chicane as van Gisbergen is clear.
13 to go, Larson dives inside of van Gisbergen into turn one. Larson reclaims the lead and Bell follows him through for 2nd! Shane van Gisbergen quickly moves back to 2nd.
12 to go, Bell pits from 3rd. He’s hoping for a caution. Shane van Gisbergen has a run on Larson into the backstretch chicane. He clears him, Shane van Gisbergen to the lead!
9 to go, Larson pits from 2nd. He’s also looking for a caution.
6 to go, van Gisbergen leads Bell and Larson by 20 seconds.
2 to go, Larson and Bell rub doors for 2nd. Larson wins the battle.
