NASCAR driver confronted on the pit lane after the race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
On Saturday night, the NASCAR Xfinity Series raced at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
After the race, there was some drama on the pit lane. Jesse Love approached Nick Sanchez. The two NASCAR drivers had a brief conversation…
“We’re racing for the win Jesse,” Nick Sanchez told Love on the pit lane after the race. “Did you not see me almost wreck down there, with him.”
“You’re sidedrafting me. Everyone’s sidedrafting me. We’re racing for the win.”
The conversation abruptly ended with Love giving a shove to Sanchez.
A man yelled, “Touch him again.”
Love walked away.

Jesse Love comments
“It’s kinda three things. One, the past experience with Nick. Two, the reputation and track record. And three, the situation that took place on the race track,” Love told the CW after the race.
“We about crashed, four times, sidedrafting on the straightaways. Then, he put it on my door, four laps in a row. So, I about crashed and we both lost a spot.”
“I’m airing out my dirty laundry. I don’t really want to do that too much between me and Nick. I’m obviously very frustrated.”
Nick Sanchez comments
“I guess he was mad about the way I was racing him,” Nick Sanchez stated.
“But, I wasn’t racing him any different than the way he was racing me. Touching me down the straightaway, sidedrafting, doing all those things.”
“Last time I checked, we’re up front, racing for a win. My boss hired me to do just that. I understand he’s racing for a championship. I’m racing for a win and 5th in points.”
He added, “This was a big day for us.”
