Green flag, Gravel gets the jump and he’s clear before turn one.
Lap 2, Justin Peck is upside down in turn three. The red flag is out.
Green, The field stacks up at the launch. Donny Schatz is upside down and the red flag is back out. All drivers are okay. Sheldon Haudenschild and others are collected.
Green, Gravel leads Price-Miller off turn two.
Lap 6, car slow, caution. Due to lightning, there will be a 30-minute delay.
After the delay, the race is set to resume. Green, Gravel leads Price-Miller off turn two. Buddy Kofoid slides Price-Miller for 2nd into turn three.
Lap 8, car stalled, caution.
Green, Gravel leads Kofoid and Corey Day.
Lap 11, Abreu and Day trade sliders for 3rd. Abreu wins the battle.
Lap 15, David Gravel spins backwards into turn one! He finds the turn one wall. The leader nearly flips and the red flag is out!
Green, Kofoid leads as Abreu looks for the slider but he can’t clear him.
Lap 17, a car is up in smoke, caution.
Green, Kofoid leads Abreu.
4 to go, Kofoid leads by 0.7.
Abreu closes the gap in a single lap but he jumps the cushion and loses ground.
