NASCAR inspection issues at North Wilkesboro Speedway
On Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series is set to race at North Wilkesboro Speedway. On Saturday, teams rolled through the inspection line. Teams are required to clear the line before rolling to the track for practice and qualifying.

Austin Hill and Connor Zilisch failed inspection two times. Per the rules, those teams will see their car chiefs ejected. They’ll also lose pit selection.
Ross Chastain failed on his third attempt through the inspection line. The No. 1 car will see his car chief ejected and they lose pit selection. Additionally, Chastain will be forced to serve a pass-through penalty on the pit lane at the start of the race.
Qualifying was canceled due to weather. However, the track has since been dried and cars are rolling for practice.

Crew member of NASCAR’s choosing ejected. Additionally, the team loses pit selection.

Not permitted to qualify plus above penalty. They also have to serve a pass-through penalty at the start of the race.
