Race Report
Green, McLaughlin gets the jump. He drives it deep into turn one and he’s clear for the lead. Sting Ray Robb drives into the back of Dennis Hauger into turn six. Hauger is sent flying off the track and into the barriers, caution.
Green, McLaughlin leads Palou and Rosenqvist.
Lap 27, the first pit cycle is complete. McLaughlin leads Palou by 2.3 seconds.
Lap 31, Kyle Kirkwood has a run on Palou for 2nd. He drives it deep and runs him wide. Kirkwood takes 2nd away.
27 to go, Nolan Niegel run wide and into the dirt. He narrowly avoids the barriers, no caution.
25 to go, McLaughlin pits for the final green flag stop. He leads Kirkwood by 2 seconds.
15 to go, Rinus VeeKay bangs pods with Scott Dixon in the corkscrew.
10 to go, McLaughlin holds off Kirkwood by 1.8 seconds.
6 to go, Rosenqvist has a run on Malukas into turn one. He drives it deep on the button. Rosenqvist takes 4th away.
