Green flag, McDowell gets the jump and he’s clear into turn one. They run three wide for 2nd, Hoffman holds the spot into turn three.
39 to go, Smith slows, caution. O’Neal heads to the pit area with a mechancial issue.
Green, McDowell leads as Thornton Jr takes 2nd away. Josh Rice is flying through the field after starting 23rd.
26 to go, slow car, caution.
Green, McDowell leads Thornton Jr and Hoffman.
25 to go, Thornton Jr slides McDowell for the lead into turn one!
22 to go, Moran tags the wall off turn two, no caution.
13 to go, Moran rolls the inside and he clears Hoffman for 3rd.
10 to go, Rice to 4th. He’s glued to the cushion and he’s driven through most of the field.
9 to go, Moran crosses under McDowell to take 2nd away. Rice knocks the cushion and he clears McDowell for 3rd. They’re both flying to the front.
6 to go, Moran clips the wall. He holds 2nd.
3 to go, Dan Abert slows, caution.
