NASCAR TV Ratings: Phoenix Raceway (October 2026)

NASCAR viewership hits season-low with the broadcast of the race at Phoenix Raceway

The NASCAR Cup Series raced on the 1-mile of Phoenix Raceway on October 18th. It was race 7 of 10 in The Chase.

Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race brought a 0.72 rating with 1.294 million viewers on average. These numbers were reported by Adam Stern.

There’s no direct comparison to the 2025 schedule. Last year, Phoenix Raceway hosted the championship race.

So far in 2026, The Chase races have averaged 1.62M viewers. Sunday’s race was well below that.

For another comparison, the NASCAR Cup Series race at EchoPark Speedway was rain delayed and finished near 2am. That race still brought an average viewership of 1.47M.

The final three races of The Chase move from cable to over-the-air. The remaining races in the schedule will reach far more households.
