Nashville Truck Qualifying – Report
Every driver is running right against the yellow line in the corners. If they miss it, they’re going to be slow.
John Hunter Nemechek missed up his get up to speed lap as he got loose in turn three. He immediately stomped the brakes and came to a stop just before the start/finish line.
Nemechek drove backwards, the full length of the track. He then turned it around on the apron by the pit lane to start it all over again.
Nemechek landed 13th of the 36 drivers who took a time so far. However, the time has been disallowed as he was suppose to return to the pit lane instead of turning around.
Derek Kraus will start from the pole position in tonight’s race. Jack Wood completes the front row.
